DURASLATE® 3-Coat For Cookware
The Problem with "Typical" Reinforcements
“Standard” Internally Reinforced three coat non-stick systems are composed of a primer, midcoat, and topcoat layer. The problem is that no internal structure “binds” these 3 individual layers together. It is very easy to “wear off” the midcoat and topcoat layer through normal cooking and cleaning, which results in a drastic decrease in food release and abrasion resistance. Click on the video for a visual example of this "layering" problem on a 3-coat.
Enter DURASLATE® - Matrix Technology
DURASLATE® 3-coat utilizes a special interlocking matrix of reinforcements that "binds" the primer, midcoat, and topcoat together. This matrix allows the three coating layers to virtually fuse together, resulting in far higher durability and food release. Click on the video to see how GMM's proprietary matrix technology binds the primer, midcoat and topcoat together.
